Co-founder and Executive Director of NFRC, Risa Garon, writes frequently for The Huffington Post, offering advice, reflecting on client situations, and guiding parents through family transitions. Risa goes on to suggest some very specific coping strategies which parents can implement to lessen or avoid this “loneliness” and to normalize what their children are going through.
